College Life

Our aim is to ensure students feel supported throughout their time at Violet Hill, providing a safe and nurturing educational environment for all.

The School Day

The College opens at 8am each morning, and our school day begins promptly at 9am. Pupils are expected to be at the College by 8.55am and at first class each morning by 9am.

Separate entrances for juniors and seniors have been allocated.

There are 10 school periods varying from 35-40 minutes, and the school day finishes at 3.30pm, with the school building closing at 5.30pm.

School Meals

With fresh food available each day, we encourage pupils to make good choices at lunchtime. Our canteen operates a cashless system, and student accounts can be topped up online or using our Revaluation Units within our college.
